 Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland (LTAI)
undertakes the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) of CFM International and Pratt & Whitney engines and their accessories. LTAI also manages a pool of spare engines including CFM56-3 and CFM56-7 engine types to support LTAI’s own customer base and that of the wider LHT Group network.

Established in 1980, LTAI has built up a world-wide clientele and has earned a reputation for quality, expertise, competitiveness and flexibility in meeting customer needs across the range of engine models which it repairs and overhauls.

LTAI operates from a 25,000 sq. m. facility based in West County Dublin, Ireland which is equipped with state-of the-art processes that provide excellent in-house repair capability for parts and components. The facility has a 440kN (100,000 lb.) thrust test cell which is equipped with the latest computerised engine testing systems. The facility also recently commissioned a high speed grinder machine tool which is capable of performing automatic measurements and adjustments to assembled rotors to ensure optimum engine performance is achieved.

There are approximately 450 skilled people in our workforce, many of whom are technical trades people, technicians and engineers.
