The overall responsibility for Quality at Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland lies with the Technical Director who is the accountable manager and signatory of our Maintenance Organisation Exposition on file with the Irish Airworthiness Authorities.  

Reporting to the Technical Director is the Manager of Quality Assurance who is responsible for overseeing all Airworthiness related issues at LTAI. Included in MQA’s responsibilities are: 
 
 Control of the MOE document.
 
 Internal audit and follow up.
 
 Facility audits by customers.
 
 Facility audits by airworthiness authorities.
 
 External audits at LTAI’s approved vendors. 
  
 
 

LTAI falls within the juristiction of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the Irish Aviation Authority is the compotent authority responsible for oversight and issuance of EASA Part 145 approval to LTAI (Reference EASA certificate number IE.145.006)
