Logistics and Procurement 
The logistics and Procurement Department at LTAI is organised as follows:
Materials Manager
The Materials Manager has overall responsibility for the Materials Function, reporting to the Managing Director. He takes overall responsibility for Supply Chain and Logistics activity in the company. This includes purchasing, subcontracting, shipping, warehousing, materials planning and surplus sales.

Materials Handling Group
The Materials Handling Group has responsibility for all Logistics issues, including receiving, storage and physical distribution of engines and parts.

Materials Supply Group
The Materials Supply Group has responsibility for the purchase of all inventory to support Engine Production. In addition, the Group is responsible for Materials Planning, Subcontract Activity and Stock Management, including surplus disposals. The Materials database is managed on the SAP/R3 platform. Participation in provisioning conferences with OEM’s assist the planning process.

The Materials Administration and Development Group
The Materials Administration and Development Group is responsible for all Capital Purchases and for Services and Support Contracts. In addition it has responsibility for systems development and the optimisation of the application of SAP within the Materials Function.
